What Google Analytics can tell you about your visitors when you have goals

Well, in the last post you learned how to set up the tracking code for Google Analytics. This week you will learn what Google Analytics can tell you about your visitors.
Analytics can tell you if your marketing efforts are effective. You will find out how visitors are finding your site, how they interact with your site and how they are converting. There are lots of things you can find out about your visitors besides these things. But for now, let’s start with these.
Inorder to find out the above information on your visitors you will need to define your objectives. You need to answer questions such as:
>Why do you have a website?
>What do you want to accomplish with your site? This makes it easier to set objectives and goals.
So if your objective is to sell pet products, then an example of your goals could be:
>To get visitors to sign up to your list and build trust.
>Increase visitor loyalty so they keep coming back to you.
>And increase your sales.
Once you have your goals figured out then you can translate that into what you are going to measure in Google Analytics.
We will delve deeper into setting up your goals in G.A. in two weeks.
See ya then!
